Active membership is available to surgeons holding a medical / dental qualification (or the equivalent) and who have followed an approved pathway of training (including at least 3 years of oral and cranio-maxillofacial specialist training) as defined by the International Training Guidelines in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

Associate Membership is open to medical and dental practitioners working in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Trainee Membership is available to those who are enrolled on a European training programme in cranio-maxillofacial surgery and whose application is supported by their head of department and National Councillor.

To become a member of the European Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery (EACMFS) it is required to apply by filling out the application-form which can be downloaded and printed.
