Dear Friends and Colleagues,
This is an “extra-ordinary” Newsletter signifying the changes after our virtual Executive and Council Meeting on 14 & 16th September 2020.
Several evolutionary changes in the function of EACMFS are about to be introduced and I will write about then on our next regular “winter” newsletter.
I would like to take the opportunity to introduce our newly elected Executive Advisers and Internal Officers: It is with great pleasure to welcome Prof Frank Hoelzle, as our liaison EACMFS/UEMS Officer and Dr Riccardo Tieghi and Prof Klaus Wolff in the positions of our Executive Advisers.

CONGRESS SCHOLARSHIPS
 TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIPS
PRIZES & AWARDS
 EACMFS is delighted to offer Congress Scholarships, Travel scholarships, the Biennial Leibinger Award (further information in due course) and Educational Grants.
The Hugo Obwegeser Travel Scholarship is designed to provide educational support and also to allow the opportunity for trainees and those who have recently achieved specialist status to visit units outside their own departments.
Educational Grants
A grant of € 300 per year is available to each Junior Trainee Undergraduate Student Member on a European training pathway and Specialist Trainee Member to support attendance at the Rolling Programme of Education. Details of application will be available at each course.
 
EUROPEAN BOARD FOR ORO-MAXILLO-FACIAL SURGERY (EBOMFS)

The Association has continued to work closing with the European Board for Oro-Maxillo-Facial Surgery (EBOMFS) and assisting colleagues preparing for the EBOMFS RQ  to be held, as usual, at the start of the Paris Congress 13-16th July 2021  – Further information can be found at www.ebomfs.eu
