NEW EACMFS PROJECT
RESOURCE FOR THE EACMFS COORDINATION OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION PROJECTS
Many Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in Europe are promoting or collaborating in International Cooperation projects in developing countries. We hope that the creation by the European Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery of a structure for the support and coordination of all these projects will be very beneficial aiming to connect all European colleagues committed to cooperation projects. This EACMFS network, which has been recently approved to be created by the Executive Committee will count with Fernando Garcia Marin as coordinator in direct link with the EACMFS President and we are convinced that will facilitate networking, exchange of information and experiences and spread the importance of solidarity and cooperation for development.
Our task is now to identify Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons involved in voluntary work in International Cooperation projects in Europe. A letter will be sent from the Association to our Councilors and members in order to start the process.
