What is the National Trainee initiative?
The aim is to recruit a dedicated trainee representative for each of the participating countries of EACMFS. The initiative is designed to provide a voice within the Association to trainees across all relevant territories, with the NTRs acting as the dedicated spokesperson for trainees in their respective countries, as well as the conduit of information passing down from the Executive Committee.
What are the objectives of the National Trainee Representatives?
- To enhance trainee engagement and membership with the Association;
- To nurture a stronger sense of community and belonging amongst trainee members of the Association;
- To facilitate improved routes of communication between the EACMFS Council, the Trainee Representative, the Deputy Trainee Representative, and the global network of trainee members;
- To provide opportunities for leadership and professional development to trainees;
- To establish a network of individuals to help drive the successful execution of the dedicated Trainee Congress
- To create a platform for our trainees to voice their educational needs and training obstacles at both national and European levels, and to construct a more unified, forward-thinking, and innovative EACMFS.
